Pet Policy

No pets in or at cabins at anytime. Visitors are NOT allowed to bring pets. We must be notified of any pets that will be coming with you, when making the reservation. Pets are not allowed at weddings or special events without prior approval of management.

We are not able to allow the following breeds: Pit Bull, Akita, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, American Bulldog, Mastiff, Husky, Dalmatian, Doberman Pinscher, Boxer, Malamute, Chow Chow, Wolf Hybrid or mixes thereof. All pets are subject to approval by management and will be evaluated for behavior. Any pets showing aggressive or disturbing behavior will not be permitted. Any signs of aggression will lead to immediate expulsion without refund. Certain breeds may not allowed.

Barking: Nuisance barking is not allowed. An occasional bark happens but if it continues or if it happens too often, it will lead to expulsion without refund. Please have a way to keep your dog from barking. Your dog should not bark at people walking or driving by your campsite, that is considered a nuisance. Please do not book a site if you are not able to keep your dog from barking.

Proof of valid rabies vaccination is required upon check-in.

ALL pets, dogs and cats, and any other animals are required to be LEASHED AT ALL TIMES while outdoors or being walked. A leash is defined as a means of secure, physical restraint which is held by a responsible person capable of physically restraining the animal or securely attached to an object the animal is not able to pull or detach from. Electronic leashes are not permitted, except in very rare cases with special written approval from Management after an extended period of observation for obedience and temperament. Pets are never to be left unattended. This means if you leave the site, your pet is locked in your trailer, with you in your car or with you on a leash. Pets should not be left alone in tents or popup campers. If pets cause disturbance while you are away, you will be notified and will not be able to leave pet alone at the site. You will be expected to clean up after your pet at all times (even if on the trails or in the woods) by collecting the waste in a plastic bag, tying it closed, and discarding it in an outdoor garbage can. Animal waste is NOT to be dumped or thrown into the woods under any circumstances. Pets are NOT to be chained or tied too close to neighboring sites, especially when occupied. No dog kennels or fences, etc allowed without approval from management. Animals are not permitted in any buildings, Not in the sandy beach area, roped swimming area, or children’s play areas either. Only 2 dogs are allowed per site (unless written permission is given ahead of time).

Visitors are NOT allowed to bring their pets – they will be turned away. All other types of pets are not allowed unless approved in writing by the owner of the campground. Pets must be well behaved, no excessive barking, and not ill-tempered.

Thank you for your cooperation.
